VOLUNTEERS- If you need to cancel your volunteer shift, please find your replacement.
T-SHIRTS- Lobster Fest t-shirts are not required. Volunteers will be provided with aprons for easy identification by visitors. Should you wish to purchase a Lobster Fest t-shirt, please contact Amy at Amy's Apparel / BC Signs 686-1126.

ASSIGNMENT DESCRIPTIONS- Generally - first shift will assist with set up and the last shift will assist with clean up.
SET  UP TABLES, GET ICE & LOAD TRUCK- (4 volunteers needed) Pre event hauling, toting and setting up.  Will require lifting.
BREAK DOWN & LOAD TRUCK- (9 volunteers needed) Post event hauling, toting and taking down.  Will require lifting.
LOBSTER PREPARATION /COOKING- (7 volunteers needed/shift) Cook lobsters, prepare food items that are not pre-made, transfer lobsters from cooking area to plates.
NON LOBSTER MEAL FOOD- PREP & SERVE- (3-5 volunteers needed each of 3 shifts) Cook and serve brats and burgers for those persons not wanting lobster
FOOD LINE SERVERS- (7 volunteers needed/shift) As attendees go though food line, place items on plates
LOBSTER TICKET COLLECTION- (2 volunteers needed/shift) Provide tickets to those who had not picked up tickets.
WAIT STAFF- ( 4 volunteers needed/shift) Assist guest to locate table area, bring beverages to table, offer to bring beer and soda, assist people who may need assistance carrying food, clean off tables, restock condiments, ensure hospitality of guests.
BEVERAGE SERVERS/BARTENDERS- (6-8 volunteers needed for 3 shifts) Serve beer and wine in bar area
RAFFLE TICKET SELLERS- (2 volunteers needed/shift) Circulate among guests selling tickets for the 50/50 raffle
FLOATERS- (3-6 volunteers needed for each of 3 shift) Fill in where needed.
LOLA THE LOBSTER- (1 volunteers needed/shift) For those who want to "claw" their way to the top of the volunteer core!  Circulate among the guests bringing smiles and merriment decked out in a Lobster Costume.
PARK BEAUTIFICATION/DINING AREA PICK UP- (4 volunteers needed/shift) Ensure that eating area is picked up and garbage cans are emptied
LOBSTER CRACKERS - (4 to 7 volunteers needed on each of 3 shift) Assist patrons with cracking open their lobsters.
PHOTAGRAPHER(s)- ( 2 volunteers needed) Take photos of volunteers, guests table decorations, contest winners and entertaionment.
CORPORATE TABLE OF TEN - (1 volunteer needed/shift) Serve as hosts to welcome table sponsors and make sure they are taking care of.
