There are no requirements for the table decorations, dining paraphernalia, or costumes. Your imagination is your only limitation. You may use this year's theme if you wish, or you may come up with another idea altogether - the options are limitless and as a matter of fact, your unique theme is one of the categories for judging.  
      There is no charge to enter the contest but you will need to purchase your lobster dinner tickets as a group so a table can be reserved for you. Any size group is welcome to join the competition. A table of 10, however, will receive 2 free bottles of wine. 
     Judging will be done within the categories of Original Theme, Costumes, Table Decoration and Team Enthusiasm.   The wining groups will be awarded the soon-to-be-famous and highly coveted Lobster Fest Theme-Table Traveling Trophies for the year. 
      The People's Choice Award is just that.  Here is the opportunity for you and your friends to "claw your way to the surface" and win the People's Choice Traveling Trophy.  There will be a table of "lobster traps" - one for each Theme Table - where your "bate dollars" will count as votes for your favorite Theme Table.  The table with the most "bate dollars" in their "lobster trap" at the end of the evening will be the People's Choice and the group will receive the Traveling Trophy to display with pride until next year's Lobster Fest.  This friendly competition has been great fun and can turn into a "feeding frenzy" as the award presentation "nears the surface"  toward the end of the evening..
